hi kristen!
you're welcome.
you will love canning. (when you're done, that is.)
**roma (aka plum) tomatoes are best for canning.**
but if you have any tomatoes you can get for ~free~ or almost~, those will be perfect!

check back, i'm going to post the-easiest-how-to-can-peaches-ever.

good luck to you, my chic canning friend!

Look how cute you are... canning. :) That might convince me to can, but most likely not. haha. Maybe someday when I've got more space.

I missed the PM article from you last week! Was I blind and didn't see it?

Ok you have inspired me! I have big plans for canning next weekend. I'm going to the Farmer's market this week to load up on produce. Thanks for the great tips. I'm looking forward to reading about caned peaches. :)

oh Yumminess. I love tomatoes. I have never canned them before. I froze them all from last year and had them all used up within 6 months. I can't wait to bottle them this year. I will do it with the next round that I pick, since I have spent all last week making marinara sauce. It was awesome.
I have 2 big buckets of peaches on the patio. Please post peach photos and instructions soon.
I also made the jalapenos and 3 days later my hands are still burning (note to self: always wear gloves!)
love your blog
